Year-end appeals are being written right now, and in most small nonprofits, one person is writing them. In one hour, you’ll leave with two things to use this season:

One stat from this year that shows the difference you make, in a sentence a donor can read.

One story, told with dignity, that gives that stat a face and invites people in.

How the time works

10:00–11:00 a.m. PT · The Workshop. Jill teaches for a few minutes at a time, then you work on your own organization. You’ll leave this hour with your stat and your story drafted.

11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. PT · Practice & Feedback (optional). Stay on to read your work aloud and get real feedback, so you can sharpen it before it goes out.
